Lean Assessment
10-15 point evaluation on the organization on certain lean manufacturing principles. It is used to be a foundation and starter for improvements. This assessment is revisited down the road to see how the improvements affected the company.
Strategic Purpose Creation
Identifying the key shop floor metrics and creating a one-year strategic purpose for improvements. Kaizen Assembly is result driven so developing a strategy for improvements is vital to measuring success. All though lean is a journey, a vision and set of guidelines is good to create each year.
Full Training of Employees: Onsite.
Topics are selected based on the need of the company at the time. We provide all the required material and booklets. Each course is roughly 4 hours which includes training and group exercises. Kaizen Event Facilitation
Kaizen Assembly has veteran kaizen event facilitators that help lead implementation projects. The length of kaizen events varies depending on the area selected and level of waste. We will help in creating a program that fosters continuous improvement and allow the company to successfully conduct kaizen events.
Plant Layout
Kaizen Assembly can also provide counsel on new plant startups, consolidating product lines, and total re-organization of the factory floor including all support functions like maintenance, shipping, receiving, and the stock room.
Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Support
Kaizen Assembly offers a range of services outside training and consulting including manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and drafting support for projects. This includes providing resources to conduct flow and cycle time analysis, plant layout drafting support, construction of 5S visual boards, fixtures, jigs, and much more. Often resource availability in regard to maintenance and technical support is not available at a client’s facility. Kaizen Assembly can offer those resources to help accelerate your lean journey.
Every agreement is negotiable and can be modified. The above options are a guideline for developing a program that best fits each company’s needs. We offer 1 and 2 day workshops and other small projects as needed.
